When I was employed at 80 Grove Street in the West Village of New York City (in the late 1990's)...Better known as Christopher Street (The Gayest Place on Earth)-Back in the days when I frequented the spot. Anyway, I was a bouncer at the LEGENDARY-MONSTER Bar and one night on a shift, Gregg Burge came into the establishment and I was immediately STARstruck because I was obsessed with his performance in A Chorus Line the movie.
We spoke about it briefly after our introduction by a mutual friend, THANKS Sasha (R.I.P). Gregg was very sweet and kind to me and did not mind me asking so many questions about his dance career. I never forgot his inspiring words, Months later I heard he had passed...The dance world lost a future LEGEND.
