& (A GOOD Friend) She was my boss when
she was running her independent company called "Screaming Queens"...A
few decades ago.
Miss.Understood hired me to do a drag number for a rich client on the upper Eastside of Manhattan. I had never done drag professionally but the MONEY was GOOD and I was in need of paying some bills. This was the mid 1990s.
I remember the entire event because I had to borrow a dress from a designer friend (Jon Xavier) and change (literally) in the cab. I transformed from Tonyboy to Tonygirl...I entered the gig and it was a HUGE success. I was paid a high bonus and was ask to stay for an extended engagement. Using my own voice and singing acapella-the standard birthday theme and taking request, the kids ranged in ages 15 thru 17. They were young, rich and sexy (boys and girls). FUN TIMES!!!!

I did drag once before in 1982 when Culture Club first invaded America.
