Only two things I can say about this post (maybe more).
So once again, My good friend Jaime Burke calls me out of the blue in 2008 and tells me, Get dressed! I will meet you at such and such place and a cab will greet me-Destination the VH1 studios in Manhattan. We are going to the live-taping of Culture Club's reunion. This is the exact outfit I wore the night, I went on stage to meet my idols and ask a question of Boy George (which was later cut) because it was about, Take It Like A Man and not Culture Club related...Oh well.
The night and it's memories will forever be embedded in my soul. Thank You, Jaime Burke and Culture Club.
Repost from my Facebook page about this evening:

On my way to the exclusive engagement of the VH1 taping of (Culture Club: The Reunion Show). If you see it on DVD or Blue Ray you can spot me, I'm sitting next to Roy Hay with a red bandana on my head. That night was really cool because I was able to go on stage and talk to Mickey, Jon & Roy. I asked Boy George a question (on camera ) and it was edited out, SHIT!
Doesn't matter because these guys were super sweet to me. I was the ONLY person in the audience allowed to go on stage and talk to them. Several New York celebrities were in attendance, Amanda Lepore, David Lachapelle and Jocelyn Wildenstein to name a few. My good friend who invited me to the event was so jealous but HAPPY , I was talking to my idols. They are much more than musicians to me, they constructed the soundtrack to my LIFE. Thank You so much.
Another very special moment about this evening, one of the camera men who was hired to film the show for VH1 was incidentally one of the cute camera guys who had worked on the MTV show I was on, called "The GRIND from 1992-1996". He was one of the guys who taped me for celluloid history every time I danced on t.v, we knowledge each other and it felt GOOD to see my pal. All of this happened after I took this picture, I was smiling because I was going to the show...I had know idea it would mark a significant evening in my LIFE.

Spent one New Years Eve a long time ago in Time Square with Jaime, Seeing Culture Club perform-One time only!!!
Time Square New Years Eve is strictly a tourist attraction, I would rather avoid at all cost, the chaos,
but I did it for the band.
