As the star of the 1974 show called "Get Christie Love!", Teresa Graves is credited as being the first African-American woman to star in her own hour-long cop-drama television series...

FREEZE! Sugar! was her catch phrase.

On October 10, 2002

Teresa Graves' home caught fire. She was found unconscious in a bedroom before being rushed to the hospital where she later died. She was 54 years old and her body was later cremated. A Brilliant talent with a lot to offer in such a short time. This show really connected with me and my mom when I was growing-up.

6' 2" (1.88 m), Beautiful, Statuesque model and actress. Tamara Dobson burst onto the silver screen with an enormous crescendo called "Cleopatra Jones" in 1973. Tamara than flexed her comedic skills in a GAY classic called "Norman...Is That You?" in 1976 also starring Pearl Bailey & Redd Foxx. One more gem in her repertoire, Check out this T&A classic with Lynda Blair called "Chained Heat" in 1983 with Stella Stevens from the pilot of The Wonder Woman series with Lynda Carter.

Tamara Dobson will forever be a remarkable actress in my opinion.

Roxie Roker's accolades are many-She portrayed the wise-cracking upstairs neighbor and friend of The Jeffersons on a long-running comedy show. Roxie was Helen Willis-half of the first interracial couple to be shown on regular prime time television. Roxie was born in my hometown of Miami, Florida...LOVE the success of a hometown sister making-it!

She also gave birth to one of the coolest rocker musicians on the planet, now turned actor Mr.Lenny Kravitz & She also happens to be the cousin of NBC's weatherman Al Roker. Roxie was an amazing actress who was taken from us all way to soon by breast cancer. Miss her infectious spirit on screen but Helen Willis lives on in DARK WORLD, Not quit sure about Tom (yet)...

When I was employed at 80 Grove Street in the West Village of New York City (in the late 1990's)...Better known as Christopher Street (The Gayest Place on Earth)-Back in the days when I frequented the spot. Anyway, I was a bouncer at the LEGENDARY-MONSTER Bar and one night on a shift, Gregg Burge came into the establishment and I was immediately STARstruck because I was obsessed with his performance in A Chorus Line the movie.

We spoke about it briefly after our introduction by a mutual friend, THANKS Sasha (R.I.P). Gregg was very sweet and kind to me and did not mind me asking so many questions about his dance career. I never forgot his inspiring words, Months later I heard he had passed...The dance world lost a future LEGEND.
