‘Life and Death on the New York Dance Floor’ Charts a Kinetic Scene in the Early ’80s

I've always felt a strong personal connection to Jean-Michel Basquiat (Samo)...Why? I can't explain it because I wasn't fortunate enough to meet the artist. Maybe it's simply because I live near the park, He used to sleep at during his homeless period or I'm physically drawn to his artistry, Don't know but I LOVE & Respect his contribution, Immensely.

Before I started my 6-Year stint on MTV's The Grind from 1992-1996, I was first on a show hosted by Fab Five Freddy called "Fade to Black" about a week or so after that, I became a principle on The Grind. Great Times!!!, Thank You GOD & Universe for bringing them both into my existence.
