Yo! MTV Raps Anniversary!!!!!!
I believe I was hired for the next to final taping of the "last show" because the following weeks. I would receive the phone call that started it all...MTV's The GRIND, There I landed for the next 6 years of my life working on 42nd street in Manhattan, New York City for a Prime-Cable Network at National Studios-The GREATEST Time!!!!!! in the daytime for Me and My effortless energy because at night, NYC would transform into a hedonistic existence of fabulous music and the most attractive individuals to ever "walk this planet".
Also I mentioned "The GRIND" because the studio we taped "The GRIND" in was also used to film "Yo!MTV Raps" and I don't recall it being on the air when our show was on.The Grind gained MTV some of it's highest rating at the time,The show was a PHENOMENAL HIT!!!!!!!!
Limelight (The infamous nightclub was My nightime job for a long stretch of time) and all the other fantastic clubs where we all danced until the lights were turned on...and sometimes ended-up in groups at friends apartments still dancing or sleeping on the west side highway piers watching the "greetings of another day.
Always, always grateful to be alive and want so much more...Whatever NYC wanted to dish-OUT!!!!
All started with that one taping of "Yo' MTV Raps" walked in alone and left alone thinking and knowing things were about to CHANGE (1992)
