The following is a very positive review about the first episode of Season 2 of Supergirl which officially kicked-Off tonight on the CW.
I'm in total "SHOCK" the reporter did not make any mention of the link to the 1978 Superman film and Supergirl connection, Maybe it was just a comical nod to the DIE-HARD Fanboys like myself. If you have no idea what, I'm talking about...Allow me to explain, Cat Grant's new assistant to replace Kara Danver's old job is named "Miss.Teschmacher" and the origin of the name and how she says it in the episode is also a direct homage to Gene Hackman's (Lex Luther & Valerie Perrines's) Eve Teschmacher from the Christopher Reeves 1978 Superman film-BRAVO Job!!! Adding these little nuggets into the show. Last season we saw...The Omegahedron which was a homage to the Supergirl movie from 1984 with Helen Slater.
Keep up the GREAT JOB of writing, producing, directing and starring in this AWESOME SHOW!!!
