After Marc Berkley hired me to Go-Go dance for Limelight,Club USA,Palladium and many other venues , I also had to do other jobs dancing in the NYC gay club scene (1992-1997) and I was a permanent fixture at Sugar Babies and Parish House (Troy's own club over a restaurant upstairs) It was small to dance in once the crowd started coming...Troy was an absolute genius and very, very sweet and extremely kind to me. His musical ear was always on a fierce, funky beat he could spin a tune that would have you drenched in sweat by the end of closing.
GOD! Get me the fuck out of 2016 before I lose another hero, 2016-The Year that KILLED Great music makers.

This truly breaks my heart, My DEEPEST CONDOLENCE to his family and friends. Troy was a lovely man and always had a smile to give. Lost contact with him and very sorry to find out about his passing. Troy I can't "Thank You" enough for all you did for me, Booking a black lead dancer when most racist promoters like, John Blair who operated all the Go-Go boys over at Roxy...Shithead! Refuse to hire until later when Bryan came on the scene and Joseph (Hi Guys).
Troy hired me on sight and I danced for his night as long as it lasted (This was a fun gig)-We had some GOOD TIMES together and when ever I think about you, Troy...I will smile.
