I gotta say the writing team and the F/X department over on the SHUDDER channel is top-notch in delivering some sick-ass effects and usually a decent story to go along.
Downrange problem for Me did not relay on the script which by the way, Taking out the macho-sexy in the blue shirt, Relatively early in the film was genius because it set the tone perfect for the remainder of the film. Films like this and the demented classic Black Christmas with Andrea Martin from 1974 and even more recent like The Strangers, The complete Unknown attacking with no clear motive and with such conviction is truly, HORROR!!!!! at it's BEST!!!!! Let's say, The killer or killers is never caught or revealed to the audience, Eben More frightening because YOU -Just Don't Know????
My negative towards the flick was the horrible actor who for some unforeseen reason kept getting these major close-ups (Vomiting Inducing) Just saying, In every seen after he's eventually wounded-This moron begins grunting and carrying on like he's going for some Oscar Winning Performance...It's so distracting, You begin screaming at the killer to "Take him OUT" Just for the peace and quiet for the rest of the cast at least...When You Watch, You'll see.
Want an example; He's acting like an adult version of that bratty kid in Stephen King's Cujo.
